Idea:
The idea was to create a modern, engaging Pizza Hut website concept that not only displays new pizzas but also makes the browsing experience interactive and fun. Instead of a static menu, the design uses movement and visuals to tempt users, making the pizza itself the centerpiece of the experience.
My Design Approach:
I focused on crafting a clean and minimal layout where the pizza takes full attention. To keep users engaged, I added an interactive carousel of pizzas at the bottom, allowing them to select and instantly see the chosen pizza rotate and move into the main spotlight. The use of whitespace, bold typography, and high-quality food imagery ensured that the design feels appetizing and easy to navigate.
Challenge:
One of the main challenges was ensuring smooth transitions between pizzas without making the design feel cluttered or heavy. Balancing interactivity with simplicity was key — the design needed to feel dynamic yet intuitive. Additionally, presenting multiple pizzas while keeping the user’s focus on the highlighted one required careful alignment of visuals and animations.
